[Steps] How to install TWRP recovery in LG V10 [LG-H901]

This is the tutorial of How to Flash TWRP recovery in LG V10 [LG-H901] model only.LG V10 receive unofficial TWRP recovery thanks to KAsp3rd, XDA Dev for it.There is bugs yet found in this TWRP recovery.For flashing TWRP recovery in LG V10 running on android lollipop 5.1.1 you must Unlock LG V10 bootloader first.Only after that you can flash custom recovery in it.You can download TWRP recovery for LG V10 from below link.


After flashing recovery you can flash Custom roms once it is built for it like CM12.1 or CM13 etc or you can make backup of your Stock rom.So lets start the guide on How to Flash TWRP recovery in LG V10.


1.You LG v10 bootloader bust be Unlocked.
2.Download and install LG drivers  in Your PC
3.Download Mfastboot.zip and extract in on Desktop.

4.Make sure that device model is H901 only don’t flash it in any other model.

#How to flash TWRP recovery in LG V10 (H901)

1.Download TWRP recovery for LG V10 and place it in the Mfastboot folder that your exacted earlier.

2.Now Enable USB debugging on your device:
Open Settings >About phone and tap seven times on Build number, this will enable Developer options.

3.Now go back to Settings and you’ll see “Developer options” there, open it.Tick the USB Debugging checkbox.

4.Connect your device with your PC using USB cable.

5.Now open Mfastboot folder and press “Shift + Right click” on any empty white space inside the folder and then select “Open command window here” from the context menu. 


6.You will see command prompt window on your screen now type follow command in Command window. 

                              adb reboot bootloader

7.Your device will reboot into bootloader.Now Enter Following command in the command window.

       fastboot flash recovery twrp- 

8.Once TWRP is successfully flashed on your device, issue the following command to reboot.

                                    fastboot reboot
