How to Enable Double Tap to Wake Up in Moto E 1st gen [kernel]

How to enable Double tap 2 wake up feature in Moto E 1st gen 2014 using Root and custom Kernel.Before we Start you need to have some pre-request.Check the list below.Before enabling Double tap to wake (DT2W) up feature in Moto E 1st gen.You can perform this process without using PC or laptop.Thanks for XDA member corphish  for making this possible.I made this step by step guide with picture so that every can do this easily.


1.You must have Root Access.
2.You should have any Cyanogen based rom installed in your Moto E 1st gen.If you don’t have you can install it from here.

3.Download Gesture Control App from HERE.
4.Must have TWRP custom recovery.

Lets start the step by step tutorial to enable double tap to wake up feature in Moto E 1st gen.

#How to enable Double Tap 2 wake Up in Moto E 1st gen

1.Firstly Download gesture Control App from HERE.
2.Install the app and open it and grant root permission.You will get screen like below.
3.Click on Continue now it will give you error that No Gesture Support in kernel you are using  So just click on Download Icon on Top right corner to Download Zapdos kernel 1.6.
4.Now you will that this device has support for Zapdos kernel now click on Install/Download Button then wait till the downloading Completed.


 5.When the downloading completes Click on Flash button as you see in the image and click on reboot button.
 6.After rebooting it will boot in to your Custom recovery and then complete the Flashing process.


7.After flashing Switch on the device and Open and Switch on Double tap to Wake Feature Done!


8.Now test it bye Locking you device and double tap on screen to wake up.Hope it will work as it is tested method and 100% working.
