1. Make sure you have the latest WhatsApp apk which supports File sharing feature.If not then you can download it from here.
2.Now Download and install ES File Explorer from Play Store
3. Open ES File Explorer, enable Root Explorer from left sidebar menus and then navigate to
then open com.WhatsApp_preferences.xml with ES Note Editor.
You will see the string <string name=documents”>PDF</string>
5. Add the extensions doc,txt,docx,pptx,xls besides pdf.
6. Save the editing and force close WhatsApp.
