Yes! You heard it  right you don’t need any xposed module or any app that require root You can enable Tap to Wake up or unlock feature without root using simple app on playstore i.e Tap sleep on/off apk.

7.If you wan to unlock you device by double tap you can select “Unlock” option from the list.

Note:For Double tap Unlock Feature you have to remove password or pattern lock from your device.

If you face any problem in following the above steps you can comment below.

  1. Guys! When you activated the app you must have clicked on device administrator, which grants app some unusual rights one of them is you can't uninstall it. Simply go to settings tap security then device administrator untick this app and uninstall. Welcome.

  2. Es verzögert insgesamt etwas, lÀuft nicht ganz rund. Sobald ich den Bildschirm sperre und direkt danach den Doubletap mache passiert nichts, muss erstmal ein paar Sekunden warten und es dann nochmal versuchen.

  3. I have the new Galaxy s7 Edge. The app does work in turning off the screen. But it doesnt play well with the always on function of the phone. It will turn off the clock will show up for a second then shut off and the capacitive touch buttons will light up for at least 1 min then shut off. I tried checking the box in the app that tries to address that but it did not help. I'm guessing an update is probably in order since the always on feature is brand new in smart phones?
