  4. Hello, I have a moto e 2nd gen prepaid from virgin mobile. Service sucked, tried to change it to straight talk. Then phone wouldn’t work at all. Tried to take service back to VM but still wouldn’t work. Spent two frustrating weeks talking to VM trying everything, still no good. Can my phone be saved? Please help.

      • Yes. Following VM instructions I factory reset it, hard reset it, recovery mode, just about every possible reset. Notably, the VM preinstalled data done right app used for activating device no longer appears or downloads. Currently there is no VM account attached to device but calls still go through to voice mail. No outgoing calls except through voice mail to reply to msgs left. Someone at virgin mobile mentioned that device might be unusable now.

  5. can I do it even if my phone is not unlocked ?
I am not sure whether I turned on the developer mode and usb debugging.

Downloaded the zip file and while executing command it says command not recognized. when checked fastboot devices, it shows positive. plz help.
