[How to] Update Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 LTE To Android 6.0 Marshmallow

Google released official Android M  6.0 to Nexus devices as well as Android One Device too.As the source is now out Many developers start making Custom roms based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow .
Today We are going to Share the AOSP Custom rom for Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 LTE (T805) based on android 6.0 Marshmallow.Thanks to Schischu senior XDA developer for making this rom.So lets start the guide on How to Flash Android M 6.0 Marshmallow in  Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 LTE.

#Requirements

1.Rooted Samsung Galaxy Tab S with latest lollipop 5.1

2.Custom recovery installed in it (TWRP recovery ).

3.Make Backup of your current rom then follow below steps.

4.Download Android M 6.0 Custom rom for Galaxy Tab S.

5.Download Google Gapps for Android 6.0 marshmallow pico.

#How to Install Android M 6.0 in Galaxy Tab S 10.5

1.Download Android 6.0 rom and gapps and place it in your device memory.

2.Then reboot your device into recovery mode.

3.Tap on “Install” in recovery mode and the select  aosp-6.0.0-latest-chagalllte.zip from your memory where you pasted it in 1st step.

4.Now After selecting the .zip file do “Swipe to confirm flash” at the bottom of the screen.


5.Now back to home in TWRP recovery and Flash the Gapps 6.0 pico.zip similarly you flashed the AOPS Android 6.0 Rom  in step 3 and step 4.
6.Once Flashed Wipe System , Data , Cache and Dalvik Cache.

7.Done! reboot your device you successfully flashed Android 6.0Rom in Samsung galaxy TAB 6 10.5 LTE

  1. I have a t805 model but: if i try to flash aosp-eng.ubuntu.20160203.213110, twrp answer to me: —–> I think it's impossible cos I have the lte model!
    after this, i've tried with aosp-eng.ubuntu.20160203.215530 but my tab s (t805) crashes during the flash operation: precisely i read on the display the following phrase: "patching system image unconditionally…" and i can see the twrp loading bar (continuously in progress) but nothing happens until the complete battery descharge…
    so, please!, help me!
